About Dublin

The capital city of Ireland- Dublin is known for its vibrant nightlife. A large population of the state lives in the suburbs of Dublin. The area size of the city is quite large in comparison to the other cities of Ireland. However, the city centre is not so big. You can visit the place on foot without any hindrance.

The Liffey River divides Dublin in two parts. The Northern and Southern, both sides have numerous tourist attractions scattered all over their territory. The climate of the city is very generous. The winters in Dublin are also not too cold unlike the other European cities. The daytime temperature lies around 5 degrees centigrade and the nighttime temperature can go as low as 0 degrees. During summer, the maximum temperature remains around 20 degrees centigrade (in the month of July) which is way cooler than most of the European cities. You can go to visit ancient artifacts in the museums of the city. You will find yourself cherishing the items here. The beauty of the city is an accumulation of nature with the man made architecture. The market space of the Dublin is a different kind of place which looks extremely appealing. The roads and bridges of the city are also quite beautiful.

The parks and gardens of Dublin are a delight to the eyes. Not just your body will feel at ease here but your mind and soul will also feel relaxed. You will literally feel the stress flying off your brain.

At night time, the beauty of the city enhances even more. The lighting of the place works wonders on everything. The roads, buildings, parks, everything looks vibrant and exotic. If you are into plays, you can visit one of the theatres of Dublin. You can also catch a rugby game here or simply go to a walking tour in the city.

Local Culture: Just like the other Ireland cities, the culture of the capital city of Dublin revolves around music, art, literature, sports etc. which also includes the language, customs and traditions of Irish people.

Dining: Dublin has a large number of restaurants throughout the city. While the prices at these restaurants might be high, the local eateries at the streets serve good and cheap food.
