Top 5 Places where you can find North-east food in Delhi
Your quest to search for the north-eastern food in the NCR ends here.
On a trip to the capital, you will find a large settlement of young, carefree people from the North-Eastern parts of the country. Most of them are here to complete their higher educational studies while some of them are here on a job hunt. Although you would mostly find them clustered together in suburbs, they are still a long way away from their culture, belonging to different customs than what they find here, and the type of food which they eat there is different to what they will find here.
However, there are still quite a few places that go a long way in making the North-Eastern people feel at home in the capital.
Rosang Cafe S 20, Uphaar Cinema, Green Park
Rosang Cafe is probably the most famous place on this list. It is run by a couple, also from the North-Eastern parts of the country. The couple has gone a long way to replicate the same surroundings which will make you feel nostalgic about the Seven Sisters. You can find numerous dishes from across all the states from the north-east side of the country. The decor around the cafe makes you feel that you are actually in the North-East.
If you ever end up at Rosang Cafe try out the Wild Red Rice, Axom Tea, or the Red Rice Beverage. These dishes are the highlights of the place.
Rigo Restaurant Tibetan Old Camp, Majnu Ka Tila
The biggest Tibetan settlement in the capital, Majnu Ka Tila is well famous for its absolutely delicious North Eastern Cuisines. The Rigo Restaurant will make one feel at ease with its warmth. You would be jaw-dropped at the taste and quality of North-Eastern food that you will find at the place. You would surely enjoy the peaceful surroundings with a great quality of the food.
Whenever you go up to this place, ask for their Beef Chilli Dry, Mokthuk, Veg Thundak, or Pan Fried Momos.
Wangchuks Ladakhi Kitchen DLF Phase IV, Gurugram
If you are on the lookout for high-quality Tibetan or Nepalese food, dont look any further than the Ladakhi Kitchen in Gurgaon. Are you in the mood for an absolute feast? You should probably go out and check out the Yeti Restaurant in the Greater Kailash. The Place has decided to bring all the customs from the Himalayan and the North-Eastern regions to their scene with great interior decor made entirely out of wood.
