Alaska is located to the west of Canada. It was once a part of Russia, but it was sold off to the United States. Alaska hosts a lot of solo travellers, every year. Last year itself, 20% of its visitors were solo travellers. It is the safest state in the U.S. for travelling by oneself.

The natural wonders, the snow-capped mountains, the gigantic iceberg, the northern lights, and the glacier-carved fjords make it a must visit for all kinds of travellers.
